Transmedia storytelling is very interesting topic. Using many kinds of media to create a great user experience. It links with the topic that Robin Naughton, guest speaker, presented tonight. Building great user experience with many media is not easy task. Each media has to be unique but link with each other. To do that all team partners have to put a lot of effort through many processes, such as designing, developing, and presenting.

This class is the conclusion of the whole quarter. We went back to what we talk earlier week about designing the target user/audience when starting the channel. The user persona was used a lot in my marketing and advertising classes in my undergrad degree. It required a lot of work in research to get a right persona, and it helped a lot in reframing the work and kept all work pieces on track.

The future of the next generation web.

It’s kind of overwhelming by a lot of information tonight. Most of the sample such as LonelyGirl15 and TV demand are unfamiliar with me. However, I like the concept of “lean forward and lean back”. It makes very clear explanation of how people engage with the mediums and stories. Also the lecture about the production process at the end of the class is very useful for amateur content creator like me to learn how to think like professional producer.

My third vlog for COM 597 assignment about how the future of mainstrean will look likes.

I can feel some heartbreak emotions in this class tonight. It’s hard to accept that some beliefs, which have been deeply set in our minds, are not true. I went to Philadelphia last summer. I went to Betsy Ross’s house but it was closed. For me, who has just few knowledge about American history, it is not a big deal. I just walked pass by t another visiting places. But, think about person who is very passion about the truth, which actually it is the myth.  It’s horrible moment.

The video about my personal experience where I learned something was not what it appeared.

I am very glad that we had Paolo Tosolini as a guest tonight. Learn from him about how to use video in productive way is a big inspiration to me. Drew had said in class that the audiences do not want to know what sophisticated tools that we use for producing the video. They look for a narrative and content that they feel interested and engaged. And engaging is the thing that drive them to spread out the video and make the video viral.
